hoodedlord how the hell do you pick a favorite?
this submission goes hard as fuck Favorite track: At Wits' End.

Lloyd James Another metal/non-metal genre blend that shouldn’t work, but does, this album just exudes fun. At times the transitions are slow and build from momentum (eg Tabula Rasa), other times abrupt (No Rest For The Moral), but I’m always on board for it! Favorite track: Above Snakes.

lallig00d At times it sounds like someone came in to the studio & turned off (or on) a bunch of pedals at the same time. Other times it sounds like someone switched the radio to a different channel. Regardless, I find that these instrumental jams flip all the right switches in my head! Favorite track: Above Snakes.

Kenstrosity Tech death with spoons. Bluesy, surfy, funky tech death. But also with spoons. I... I ju... what other choice is there but to fork over the cash? Favorite track: No Rest for the Moral.

Cyril Glaume "Above Snakes" c'est Retour Vers le Futur 3 revisité par Sleep Terror, dans lequel l'habituel Tech-Modern Death instrumental va taquiner le Groove Metal du désert.

Charles Passarell This album is the perfect balance that I would expect from Sleep Terror. A lot of artists can't maintain the balance of levity and seriousness after this long and I really appreciate that this album sounds just as inventive and fun as their original demo. Love it!

about

Sleep Terror return in an all new form with 'Above Snakes', a cathartic dark western fantasy soaked in boggy jams, honky tonk, surf, southern groove metal and delta blues in their trademark style of genre-bending tech-death. The album closes out the trilogy that started with 'El Insomne' and follows up to 'Abreaction'. With a live lineup and a new identity that is a coming of age, 'Above Snakes' is a survivor's tale delivering a focused taste of the next chapter which sees Luke and cohorts honing in on an even more daring sound. This is a galloping wild ride into vengeance.
